In midst of this oil crisis we can innovate few mechanisms to control n distribute the limited resourse we have, just with few tweaks of technology. I do not have high reach over government position, but you know people there. Here is my simple suggestion. I have a better idea looking at all these scary petrol n diesel queue.

Dear NOC, please add a feature in your website
1.Create an online Database of all the petrol pumps with their
location and capacity.
2.Add feature to register online by consumers with proper
credentials like Bill book id etc to prevent duplication of vehicle with option to choose a petrol pump near them.
3.Decide a egalitarian quota according to vehicle. When the
capacity of that particular petrol pump is met, close the registration on add the consumer in waiting list or give them option to choose another pump.
4.During registration add a box with mobile number.
5. On the day when petrol is available n will be distributed send sms to that number with coupon number which they can print and show at the respective pump to get their share of oil.
6.This way we can save lot of time n prevent all the hardship
we are facing staying at the queue.
7. We have competent computer engineers to add this feature
in day or two. I m electrical engineer myself.

please help to reach this suggestion to people in position so that general public don’t have to wait in dillema for 5 litres of petrol.
