Kathmandu, March 4: The closed session of the ongoing national convention of the Nepali Congress has been over with the presentations of the party policy and programmes and reports by the general secretaries and treasurer.
General Secretaries duo Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula presented the party’s organizational reports while Treasurer Chitra Lekha Yadav tabled the financial report.
Similarly, central member Mahesh Acharya presented the policy and programme in the closed session. The discussion on the report will begin from 9:00am tomorrow, said Chief of NC Publicity Department, Dr Minendra Rijal.
Meanwhile, the closed session has amended the provision relating to the election of central members from the zones. With the amendment, every province will chose two central members for the party. RSS
