Kathmandu, Dec 15: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa left for an official visit of the United Kingdom (UK) on Tuesday evening.
Foreign Minister Thapa will attend a special ceremony to be held on Wednesday on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and Great Britain.
In London, Minister Thapa will hold talks with his British counterpart Philip Hammond among other high officials.
The Foreign Ministry’s Joint Secretary led team is scheduled to hold the second bilateral consultations on Thursday between Nepal and Britain.
During his stay, Minister Thapa will also meet with Nepali diaspora in Britain. The Minister will return home on December 21. His entourage includes high officials of the Foreign Ministry. RSS
