CPN (Maoist-Center) shows reservations on budget

prachanda-1Kathmandu, May 29: The CPN (Maoist-Center) has supported the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, but with reservations.
The party, the second major ruling partner in the CPN (UML)-led coalition government, said the government did not consult and cooperate much with the ruling partners as it was supposed to do before announcing the budget, concluded the party’s meeting that took place in its parliamentary party office Sunday. The meeting drew the attention of the party leadership towards this end.
Addressing the meeting, party Chair and parliamentary leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the budget in content was positive, some issues being raised by the party were however excluded in the budget. He pledged his initiatives to make corrections of the weaknesses in the budget. RSS
