Butwal, Nov 28: Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has said it was unfortunate to have the supply to Nepal blocked by India in the two-country boarder.
After inspecting the customs office of Bhairahawa Saturday, Minister Poudel said it was quite serious that India obstructed the shipments to Nepal though Nepal had normal situation with security intact.
Chief of the customs office at Bhairahawa, Labanya Kumar Dhakal, made public the report that the revenue collection in the office was hit hard by the blockade.
The Bhairawa Customs Office is the second in the rank to collect high revenue to country. The revenue collection percent till the Kartik of the current fiscal year is 5.14, but it was 18.44 percent in the same period of the last fiscal year.
On the occasion, FM Poudel directed the employees at the Customs Office to devote to the result oriented task. RSS
